Hey there, I'm a coding and math enthusiast studying at the University of Toronto. I've spent the past seven years typing away on keyboards, spinning the web of programming, and solving math mysteries. From my home country Bangladesh to my current study hub Canada, coding has been my faithful companion. Blockchain caught my eye with the boom of Bitcoin and I even pitched a startup idea in 2019 around the technology. But life, academics, and yes, the pandemic, made me press the pause button on my blockchain journey.

Despite several attempts at self-learning Solidity, it turned out that my solo mission wasn't a great fit for me. I needed a community to bounce off ideas, a roadmap to navigate the content jungle, and a guiding light. That's when the Nas Academy Solana Course made its entrance.

Joining the course seemed like a perfect way to dive back into the web3 world, bolster my knowledge, and finally be part of a group that's as excited about blockchain as I am. Let me tell you, the course didn't disappoint.

The six weeks were filled with action-packed live sessions, hands-on projects, and office hours that cleared up any confusion. The option to work at my own pace with Buildspace was the cherry on top. The connections I made and the access to professionals in the field were some amazing perks that came with the course.

As for the learning, where do I even start? Solana blockchains, NFTs, account integration, you name it. I got to grips with TypeScript and Rust, which I can use outside of the Solana context too. Above all, I learned how to work with people from all walks of life.

The driving force of this course was the fantastic duo, Giorgio and James. Giorgio brought the fun and James got the facts. They created a space where everyone felt welcomed and heard. I loved their energy, open-mindedness, and readiness to learn from us, the students.

If I were to suggest any tweak, it would be to partner up with real companies or startups. Let students get their hands dirty with a real project, ask engineers the hows and whys, and maybe even land an opportunity to continue working on that project.

To wrap it up, the Nas Academy Solana Course has been an incredible ride. It's got my blockchain engine running again and introduced me to the exciting world of web3. If you're looking to get started on your blockchain journey, I can't recommend this course enough.

P.S. :

The Nas Academy Solana Course didn't just offer me a curriculum; it provided me with experience. From creating a welcoming learning space to building a sense of community among students, the course was designed with thoughtful consideration. More than just a stepping stone into the world of blockchain, this course reminded me of the joy and satisfaction of learning something new, in a supportive and inclusive environment.

In an era where information is abundant but guidance is scarce, courses like Nas Academy’s provide a beacon of light for those of us eager to dive deep into new territories. I look forward to seeing how the course evolves and expands over time, and I'm genuinely grateful for the knowledge, skills, and relationships I've built through this journey.

Finally, a huge shoutout to my cohort mates, our mentors, and everyone involved behind the scenes who made this course a memorable experience. You guys rock!
